Stephen Walker scored the first goal of his second stint with Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday evening.

The on-loan Boro youngster was introduced after 83 minutes of Alexandra's match away to Blackpool at Bloomfield Road, with the Railwaymen trailing to Dan Ballard's first-half header.

But within 3 minutes of his introduction, Walker started off a move - also including fellow Boro loanee Nathan Wood - which would finish with the young forward beating the offside trap and drilling low beyond Chris Maxwell in the Tangerines goal.

Wood made his third successive start in the draw, which keeps Crewe in the top half of the League One table.

Elsewhere on Tuesday, Rumarn Burrell was back in the squad, but an unused sub for Bradford City as they beat ten-man Mansfield Town 1-0.

A day earlier, Dejan Stojanovic had played and kept a clean sheet for St Pauli, who secured a derby day victory over promotion-chasing rivals Hamburg.

Lewis Wing will hope to be involved in what could be a huge South Yorkshire derby with Rotherham United tonight - the Millers face fellow strugglers Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
