Jack Robinson made the first appearance of his loan spell with Yeovil Town at the weekend.

The young defender, who made his professional debut with Boro last season, had an injury-it start to life with the National League club.

But he made his first start for the Glovers in a 4-1 win over Bridgwater Town in the Somerset Premier Cup in midweek, then appeared from the bench as a 71st minute substitute in Saturday's 2-1 league defeat to Boreham Wood.

In Scotland, Zach Hemming earned a sixth clean sheet in seven league games as Kilmarnock drew 0-0 with Arbroath.

That puts Killie three points behind Inverness in the Scottish Championship, who edged out Sol Brynn's Queen of the South by a 2-1 scoreline at the weekend.

Nathan Wood is still awaiting his chance with Hibernian, he was an unused sub as they beat St Johnstone 1-0.

Hayden Coulson wasn't fit to go head-to-head with another Boro loanee as his Ipswich Town faced Lewis Wing's Sheffield Wednesday. Wing did start and the Owls looked set to for victory thanks to Dennis Adeniran's first-half goal, only for an error from keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell to hand the Tractor Boys a 90th-minute equaliser.

Djed Spence is earning plaudits at Nottingham Forest - he was awarded Nottingham Forest's man of the match in their 1-1 home draw with Millwall. The Reds were lifted off the bottom of the table last Wednesday by rivals Derby County's points deduction.

Hayden Hackney was a second-half substitute as Scunthorpe United lost out 1-0 to Port Vale.

Chuba Akpom started as PAOK beat Panetolikos in midweek, and was a 90th-minute substitute as his loan side won against AEK Athens yesterday.
