Garry Monk has completed his third signing of the summer after Martin Braithwaite finalised his transfer from Toulouse.
Boro agreed a deal with the French side to capture the services of the highly-rated Braithwaite.
The player completed his medical Rockliffe on Thursday and was shown around the training ground ahead of signing his proposed four-year deal on Teesside.
The Danish international put pen to paper a four-year deal and follows Jonny Howson and Cyrus Christie into Boro, who joined last week from Norwich City and Derby County respectively.
Braithwaite will head to Portugal on Friday to meet up with his new Boro teammates.
A versatile forward capable of playing as a striker or on the wing, Braithwaite will add extra firepower to Monk’s Boro squad, having scored 12 goals in 37 appearances last season.
The 26-year-old has 16 caps for Denmark and his last appearance came against Kazakhstan in June, when he set up the Dane’s final goal in a 3-1 win.
Keep your eyes peeled on mfc.co.uk for his first interview as a Boro player.
