Responsible Gambling Week
Boro and Principal Partner the 32Red are teaming up to support Responsible Gambling Week.
The football club became the first in the EFL to publicly sign up to Responsible Gambling Week and 32Red are also keen to show their support in delivering the message.
32Red have agreed to donate their matchday advertising space – screen, LEDs, programme – to support the Responsible Gambling message.
Mind - Mental Health Awareness
We’re delighted to welcome Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind to the Riverside and we’re aiming to spread the message and to support everyone that its okay not to be okay.
Our local Mind are one of our two official charity partners this season and we’re hoping to raise awareness of the work done by the organisation for the people of Teesside.
The newly-built Middlehaven Dock Bridge adjacent to the Riverside Stadium is now officially open.
Officially called Priestman Road Bridge, the new roadway links the junction of Shepherdson Way and The Halyard, on the stadium’s side of the River Tees, with Riverside Park and Middlehaven on the other.
It provides a pedestrian route for supporters travelling to and from the Middlehaven and Middlesbrough College area on matchdays.
Supporters travelling on foot are advised to please take extra care when using the bridge and surrounding areas, particularly as it is a new and unfamiliar set-up for road users.
As for vehicles, please note that the bridge cannot be used as a thoroughfare for vehicles on matchdays.
This means that in the lead-up to and after Boro games, drivers cannot utilise the bridge to travel from one side to the other without intention to arrive at the stadium itself. Stewards will be in place to redirect traffic if necessary.
The bridge can, however, be used by supporters as an access route when arriving to and leaving from the Riverside Stadium’s car parking facilities.
This will allow another route of access to the stadium to alleviate some congestion both before and after matches.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as our stewarding staff work hard to ensure the new road system is used as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Message From Cleveland Police
