MatchdayLIVE - Video

Having listened to feedback from last year’s live streaming subscribers, the club have acted on the two most frequent comments to reduce seasonal prices for video subscribers, and improve the quality of away match coverage.

Starting with Boro’s home match against Brentford on Saturday August 10, the new-look MatchdayLIVE service will have the same four-camera production for all eligible home and away matches, including replays as well as score and clock graphics. Commentary from the BBC Tees Sport team will be synced with the footage.

The live video streams will be filmed and produced by EFL partners NEP UK and IMG Studios, who boast the Premier League, Champions League, Wimbledon and British Horse Racing amongst their sporting clients, as well as other household names such as the BBC Proms and Love Island.

Broadcast Regulations

Please note that live video streaming is available only for overseas supporters as per EFL broadcast regulations, with the exception of selected games outside of the hours of 2.45pm - 5.15pm on Saturdays.

We are unable to live video stream Carabao Cup or Emirates FA Cup matches, or those selected for live broadcast by Sky Sports or Pitch International.

EFL broadcast regulations dictate that supporters who choose to watch the live video stream using a tablet or mobile device will need to download and use the Middlesbrough FC Official app.

The MFC Official app is available on mobile and tablet, and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play.

MatchdayLIVE - Video

A season video pass is available to overseas supporters only.

Season passes are reduced from last season’s price of £150 to £130, and if you buy before 5pm on Friday August 9 you will receive a further 10% discount (£117).

Seasonal passes represent the best value for money over the course of the campaign. For example, last year would have cost £245 to buy all eligible matches individually, a seasonal pass was £150, saving £95.

Seasonal video subscribers also receive live audio commentary for Carabao Cup and Emirates FA Cup matches, as well as any SkyBet Championship games that are not eligible for live video streaming.

Single matches cost £5 for overseas subscribers and £10 for those in the UK.
