The club has been successful in its appeal against the red card shown to Matt Crooks at Reading on Saturday.
Crooks was shown a red card in the 87th minute of the game by referee Peter Bankes, who deemed a challenge from the Boro midfielder 'serious foul play.'
The club immediately lodged an appeal and the card was rescinded by an independent Regulatory Commission on Monday.
An FA statement said: "An independent Regulatory Commission has upheld a claim of wrongful dismissal in relation to Matt Crooks and removed his three-match suspension.
"The midfielder was sent off for serious foul play in Middlesbrough FC’s game versus Reading FC on Saturday in the EFL Championship."
