MFC and MFC Foundation are committed to inclusivity across all areas of our operations, and are delighted to announce the launch of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower scheme.
The scheme is aimed at improving the experience of visiting the Riverside Stadium for supporters with hidden disabilities. MFC Foundation also plan to use the scheme to help support their interaction with programme participants who have hidden disabilities.
Living with a hidden disability can make daily life more demanding for many people, but it can be difficult for others to identify, acknowledge or understand the challenges you face.
Wearing the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower discreetly indicates to people around you that you may need additional support, or a little more time.
The club and Foundation have purchased a number of products which display the yellow sunflower on a green background, including lanyards, wristbands, pin badges and more. These will be available free of charge to supporters and Foundation participants with hidden disabilities.
If you are a Boro supporter with a hidden disability and wish to be part of the Sunflower Scheme, please complete the enquiry form below and return it to Rachel/Gemma via e-mail to email@example.com
Alternatively, if you require more information about the scheme, you can call 01642 757648.
The scheme is in place ready for when fans are permitted to return to the Riverside Stadium.
