The club are pleased to announce a new partnership with ticketing platform SeatGeek.
Award-winning and a leading name worldwide in the sports ticketing industry, SeatGeek’s technology will be implemented across Boro’s ticket operations to create a smarter, more streamlined supporter experience, both online and in the Ticket Office at the Riverside Stadium.
From mobile-friendly integration to seamless navigation as part of our official website, www.mfc.co.uk, the new SeatGeek platform will be in place ahead of the start of the new season.
The club has responded to calls from supporters requesting a ticket service with increased clarity and flexibility. With SeatGeek on board as ticketing provider, the club will also act on fan feedback with the launch of a new priority scheme.
Existing user data and MFC Digital Accounts will automatically be transferred over to the new system, with no need to re-register*.
SeatGeek currently work with several Premier League clubs including Manchester City, Leicester City and Brighton and Hove Albion, as well as the likes of West Bromwich Albion, Derby County and Bristol City in the Championship.
Derek Matthews, Head of Ticketing at Middlesbrough FC said: “We’re delighted to be working with SeatGeek, who have a proven track record with a host of clubs in football and other sports.
“We’re looking forward to getting the new system up and running to offer our fans a much-improved customer service.”
SeatGeek’s UK Sport Managing Director Peter Joyce said “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Middlesbrough FC on board as a SeatGeek client.
"The club’s management team carried out an extensive review process over a sustained period of time and had a clear vision to enhance all aspects of the supporter buying experience across ticketing, memberships and hospitality solutions in use at the club.
"We look forward to continuing our work with the club’s management team to deliver a first-class, mobile first, ticketing experience for fans across all aspects of the club’s ticketing operations during the 2019-20 season and beyond.”
