Principal Partner 32Red are on the lookout for Boro’s Fan of the Season, with nominations now open.

It’s been a testing year for football and the wider community, with the COVID-19 pandemic presenting new challenges for the sport and supporters alike.

But your unwavering backing has been as important as ever from afar.

Having himself missed out on the trial event which saw 1,000 supporters attend our home match against Bournemouth back in September - sadly the only crowd to watch a Boro match this season - Neil Warnock has already said he can’t wait to see fans at the Riverside next time around.

But for now, and with the help of Principal Partner 32Red, we’re searching for worthy winners of Boro’s Fan of the Season award for 2020/21. It could be a supporter who has gone above and beyond to help out in the Teesside community, a fan who has extra mile to follow their team in these extraordinary circumstances, or someone whose love for the club has stood the test of time.

Last year’s winner was popular London-based supporter Yusuf Jama, who has since taken on a series of YouTube interviews with members of the first team squad.

Fans are invited to email with their nominations and reasons behind them. Nominations can be sent in written or video format.

The deadline for entries is 5pm on Monday May 31. Over-18s only.

As well as the award, our winner will receive a matchday experience  and a selection of Boro merchandise, courtesy of 32Red.
