It's been an exciting year for two of Middlesbrough's most iconic institutions, with Boro now competing on the Premier League stage and leading fashion retailer Psyche expanding to almost double in size.
The long-standing partnership between the Psyche and the club has continued to grow, with the two organisations now supporting each other on a number of different levels.
As part of the partnership, Psyche have each season provided Boro's First Team squad and coaching staff with their official suits.
The suits, modelled by the First Team at an official photo shoot, have been selected this season from designer Paul Smith, with Psyche's tailoring manager Mike Baxter arranging fittings for matching suits that are bought off the rack according to size and altered by the in-house tailoring service.
Mike said: "The suits come in from Italy, and are of the highest quality.
"We have always been happy to offer suits to the team, many of whom are good customers themselves. We have strong partnership with the club, and getting to the Premier League has had an incredibly positive effect on the area."
Psyche's support has extended to MFC Foundation, Boro's official charitable arm. The Foundation's focus on supporting the local community is one that deeply resonates with Psyche owner Steve Cochrane, who feels a strong sense of civic duty and a commitment to the town that harboured his success.
In 2017, the partnership will see events including a in-store player signing session and a catwalk show for Psyche's 35th anniversary.
