Sunday’s visit of QPR will see the Boro team displaying the name of MFC Foundation.
The Foundation has rightly been lauded for the work it does in the community, particularly in recent months during the pandemic. EFL chairman Rick Parry singled out the club this week for the impact of our work with the local community.
Seasonal shirt sponsors 32Red have donated their front of shirt to MFC Foundation as a one-off gesture aimed at raising substantial funds for the charitable arm of MFC.
Every one of the match-worn shirts will be up for auction, with the funds raised donated straight to the Foundation via the website matchwornshirts.com
This will be the first time the Foundation has been on the front of Boro’s shirts, and the auction is a unique opportunity as these shirts will not be worn again.
The auction will start from kick-off on Sunday (2pm).
*After the game, all shirts will be screened and passed through a UV process first used by Real Madrid to remove any traces of DNA.
The process is germicidal and is also known as Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation and is applied to each shirt inside and out.
