This weekend will see MFC taking part in a nationwide football social media boycott.

Clubs across the Premier League, EFL, WSL and Women’s Championship are all switching off their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, and we’re urging all our supporters, fan groups, partners, and stakeholders to take part.

The boycott, which is in response to the ongoing and sustained discriminatory abuse received online by players and many others connected to the sport, will run from 3pm on Friday April 30 to 11.59pm on Monday May 3.

We are encouraging our fans, partners, and stakeholders to support the boycott in the hope of delivering a united message to social media companies.

With the boycott, there will be no social media coverage of our game at Luton Town on Saturday, or our Under-23s game at Crystal Palace on Monday.

Fans wishing to follow the game at Luton using our digital channels can watch via our Matchday LIVE service and follow live updates via our MFC App.

App users will also receive live notifications with team news, goals, and links to all the usual post-match reaction here at mfc.co.uk.
