Neil Warnock has urged the Boro faithful to give our new signings a noisy Riverside welcome on Saturday.
The Teessiders are looking to make it back-to-back wins when Blackpool come to town, and after feeling the love from our away following at the City Ground, Warnock has told the new boys they can look forward to another great atmosphere on home turf.
“I had a chat with Hernandez and Andraz [Sporar] on the pitch the other night,” the Boro boss said.
“Once again the crowd were fantastic in Nottingham, I’ve never heard anything like it.
“I can’t really put it into words what it means to the lads, it gives them such a lift when you see them all up there shouting their heads off and waving their scarves.
“I think it’s fabulous, the volume they come up with.
“They [Hernandez and Sporar] were talking about the crowd. I said if you think that’s good, wait until Saturday - you won’t have heard anything like it.
“They’re all looking forward to it.
“People like Andraz, Onel and James [Lea-Siliki], they are they type of lads it brings the best out of.
“The atmosphere, the noise up and down, it adds to your self-belief and gives you that extra bit.”
