After the joy of Boro's win against Bristol City, we're back home again on Wednesday and looking to build on a strong start to the Sky Bet Championship season.

Our fans returned to the Riverside for the first time in almost 18 months on Saturday to roar the side on to victory. Following on from a point on the road at newly-relegated Fulham, it represents a solid start to the league campaign.

Neil Warnock was left 'gobsmacked' by seeing the Boro support in all its glory, while new signing Matt Crooks says it can be the deciding factor for the team.

"It was fantastic hearing the fans again,” the midfielder said. “It was rocking, and these are moments you’ve got to embrace as a player.

"I think with everything that’s happened over the last 18 months, it gives you that little bit extra.

"We’ve created the momentum in the first two games - we have to use that now and keep it going.”
