Boro's U18s comfortably beat North East neighbours Newcastle United 4-1 at Rockliffe Park on Saturday.
Two goals in each half was enough to see off Newcastle, who grabbed a consolation goal inside the final 20 minutes.
Boro raced into the lead with four minutes gone through Alberto Balde, with Nick Hood doubling the advantage with 26 minutes played.
Hayden Hackney notched the third, though the away side responded within a minute through Max Allen.
But the three-goal cushion was restored by Gabby McGill, putting the seal on a fine performance from the U18s who have lost just once in their last five league outings.
Boro's U18s play their final home league fixture against Wolves on Wednesday April 24 at Rockliffe, with the season coming to a close away to Liverpool three days later.
