Boro stay hot on the heels of leaders Manchester City after winning 3-1 in Lancashire.

Steven Bala opened the scoring for Boro shortly before the half-hour and George Waites doubled the advantage before half-time.

The home side did pull a goal back two minutes from time, but Calum Kavanagh, back from injury, restored the two-goal cushion before the final whistle.

Fifth-placed Everton are the visitors to Rockliffe next weekend. They lost ground on the leaders this weekend after going down 4-0 at home to Liverpool.
