Graeme Lee’s side have been handed a meeting with former Teesside League champions Boro Rangers tonight (7.15pm).

It’s a first-ever meeting with the Eston-based side and the game will take place at Teessdale Park – the home of Northern Leaguers Thornaby FC.

The tie was originally scheduled to take place last week, however it was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

“There’s been a bit of a buzz about this and it’s great game,” said Lee. “I know quite a few people who are involved with Boro Rangers and they are pretty excited about it.

“Hopefully it’ll capture a bit of interest, and a few people will come along.”

Rangers are currently second in the North Riding League, and they were 6-0 winners against Redcar Newmarket a couple of weeks ago.

Boro have won the competition a record 55 times, most recently in 2018. Last season, we were beaten by Marske United at the semi-final stage.

Admission is £6 adults and £4 concessions for tonight's game at Thornaby.
