Boro’s Under-23s will play at the Riverside Stadium this Sunday, against Fulham in the PL2 (kick-off 1pm).
The match had previously been due to take place at Bishop Auckland’s Heritage Park, the regular home of our U23 team.
Boro’s youngsters are currently in 7th place in the Premier League 2 Division 2 table, looking to build on a first win of the year away to Burnley in the PL Cup early last week.
Fulham are 11th - second bottom in the 12-team league - and hoping for a first league success since the beginning of November.
Head coach Jonathan Woodgate recently expressed his hopes that first team players such as George Friend and Ryan Shotton could continue their recovery with Graeme Lee’s development side.
Admission is free for Season Card holders with Season Cards pre-activated for use on turnstiles 14-17 in the West Stand Lower (South End), or £3 for all other supporters. Tickets will be available from the Ticket Office at the Riverside, on the day from 12 noon onwards.
Seasonal car parking permits are also valid, £2 for all other vehicles.
Graeme Lee’s team are also in action tonight (Tuesday) in the quarter-finals of the North Riding Senior Cup, away to Marske United. Kick-off is 7.45pm at Mount Pleasant.
