Graeme Lee’s Under-23s will be looking for a return to winning ways when West Brom visit Heritage Park on Sunday (1pm).

After a run of four successive victories, our U23s have been defeated in their last three games and are aiming to get back on track.

Nottingham Forest won by the solitary goal last time out at Bishop Auckland before away defeats at Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers in the PL Cup, where Joe Gibson had put Boro 1-0 up inside the first minute.

The Blackburn game saw the return of Josh Coburn and Connor Malley after injury.

The PL2 Division 2 table is congested and a win against West Brom would lift Boro into the upper echolons.

The Baggies have started the season well, though, and go into the weekend in second place, a point behind early leaders Fulham.
