Garry Monk speaks to the media at Rockliffe Park on Thursday afternoon.
On Ryan Shotton and other transfer targets:
The club are dealing with those matter but he's a player we're interested in. The bid has been accepted and we'd like to get that process done as soon as possible.
There's always speculation, that's the same at every club.
But we've got a few positions we'd like to add to.
On the last two games:
We're really pleased to get back-to-back wins, runs like that can be important.
There's a long way to go and a lot of improvements to make. There've been good periods but the team is a work in progress. The aim is to pick up results while we're still improving.
On Boro's attacking players, including Britt Assombalonga:
Goals breed confidence, and for me the focus is on how we gel together on the pitch.
I've been very pleased with the improvements we've made both defensively and offensively.
It's always interesting when a player goes back to a former club - Britt was fantastic for Forest, but he's focused on us now. He's moved on to a new challenge and he'll be ready this Saturday.
On facing Nottingham Forest:
Forest have had a good start to the season but that hasn't surprised me.
Going off the experience of last season, I think this time out the league is going to be even more competitive.
You have to take each game as it comes. If the players commit in the way we are and have been, I'm confident of getting results. But the league doesn't let up - we've seen that one mistake will be punished.
