Garry Monk addressed the media at Rockliffe Park ahead of Sunday's match against Leeds United (1.15pm).
On his Elland Road return:
I'm looking forward to it. We've done some hard work during the international break and it's the next three points for us to target. It's not about me, it's about the team. I understand why people think otherwise but that's an external view. Internally it's all about the team.
On Boro's form:
As a manager you understand it takes time to get your ideas across. I said from day one the commitment has been fantastic. I think in the last three games especially, in results as well as performances, have shown our improvement and we have to continue that. But it's such a long season so you don't get too high or too low because things can change so drastically week to week.
On Leeds United:
I don't know the ins-and-outs but the structure and squad has changed a little since my time there. Like any manager you try to analyse the team's weaknesses, and the passionate crowd at Elland Road can be a factor. It will be a tough game but our focus is on us, we know if we perform we can get a result anywhere.
Rudy Gestede's back in training, which is great news. He's still a little bit away from full match fitness. Cyrus Christie's suspended but otherwise everything is exactly the same.
