Striker George Miller has hailed 'heart and desire' as the driving force behind a flying start to the season for Boro's Under-23s.
The Boro youngsters, now under the stewardship of Lead Coach Paul Stephenson, have won each one of their six games so far in the Premier League 2 Division 2, and also made a winning start to the Premier League Cup campaign victory over Nottingham Forest.
Miller joined Boro from Bury in the summer and already has eight goals to his name - including September's Goal of the Month winner.
"We are looking at opposition with really good players," Miller said.
"We might not always be better ability-wise but together as a team we're running them over with our heart and desire.
"I enjoy working with Paul Stephenson, because he's what you want from a coach, he's honest.
"He likes the other side of the game, and working hard which is my game as well really."
