Grant Hall says Middlesbrough is a club with “Premier League written all over it.”
The 28-year-old was speaking to the media via Zoom for the first time since he joined the club at the end of last week.
The defender trained for the first time on Thursday morning before taking part in a remote press conference from Rockliffe.
“This is a massive club,” he said. “It has all the facilities you could ever want…it has Premier League written all over it.
“I’m ambitious, I’d love to play in the Premier League and you can tell this is a club that is going to progress again. It’s a club that has always been challenging for promotion – last season was a blip – and the manager wants to take this club where I want to be.
“He hasn’t come here for mid-table, he’s come here to go for promotion, and I just can’t wait to get started.”
