Boro youngster Jack Robinson is looking forward to the future after penning a new deal at the club.

The 19-year-old, regularly captain of Boro's Under-23s this season, made his senior debut as a late substitute for Neil Warnock's side on the final day of the league campaign, and has now extended his stay with a two-year contract.

"I've been here since I was an Under-12, so to add to that is a great feeling," he said.

"Ever since I was a kid I've been going to the games, I've had season tickets, and watching the likes of Ben Gibson - that's what I aspire to and where I want to be.

"It's been a great experience training with the senior players and to make my debut even for a few minutes was a dream come true.

"There's a pathway here, the gaffer has said some good things and hopefully I can keep working hard, keep impressing and take my chance."
