The winner came on the stroke of half-time for the visitors as Mateusz Klich picked out the bottom corner. 

"I thought the performance was miles better than the last two," said Woodgate.

"We matched Leeds for large parts of the game, I'm gutted to concede the goal in the manner that we did with 20 seconds left in the first half - we need to see the game out in those situations. 

"You get punished when you play against good sides, but I thought we more than matched them. The lads put the effort in, worked as hard as they could and I can't ask for no more in that sense. On the ball, we need to improve."
