Jonathan Woodgate was pleased with the second half display from his Boro side after a 1-1 draw on home turf to Millwall.
Northern Ireland international Paddy McNair put us in front on 70 minutes, but the lead lasted only six minutes as Tom Bradshaw restored parity from a corner for the away side.
“Second half performance was miles better than the first. We didn’t show up in the first half," Woodgate said.
“I spoke to the players at half-time, it wasn’t good enough, they were winning a lot of second balls in midfield.
“Second half was a completely different game, I thought we dominated and the two handballs we should have had are incredible decisions. I don’t know how we didn’t get either of them. But that’s the way it goes.”
