Jonathan Woodgate was pleased with the resolve from his Boro side to pick up a hard-earned point away to Nottingham Forest.
The Teessiders fell behind through Ryan Yates, but battled back to level the scores when Paddy McNair was successful from the penalty spot after a foul on Marvin Johnson.
And Woodgate was delighted with the determination from his side to stretch our run of form to just one defeat in our last six games.
"I thought it was a well-deserved point," he said.
"We had our shape set, I thought we were very good, they're a good team, they're up in the Play-Off positions, but with all the young players that we've got in the squad at the minute I thought we did very well.
"Coulson, Tavernier, Fry, Spence and Walker - they all stood up and did well."
