Jonathan Woodgate gave his thoughts on Boro's 2-2 draw at home to Nottingham Forest.
Boro had gone behind to Ryan Yates' opener, but Rudy Gestede and Lewis Wing turned the scoreline around in the Teessiders' favour.
But there was a late sting in the tail for Boro as Lewis Grabban scored for Forest with four minutes remaining as the points were shared at the Riverside.
"I thought it was a foul on the keeper (Aynsley Pears)," Woodgate said.
"We didn't get that decision and nine out of ten times it's a foul on the keeper. This time the referee says it's not a foul.
"Very frustrating. We deserved the three points, we played well, but we didn't get them."
