Wing came as close as any Boro player to breaking the deadlock against the Cottagers' ten men on Saturday, hitting the post with a second-half free-kick.

"The gaffer said at the end of the game, we didn't move the ball quick enough and we made it easy for them," the midfielder said.

"They sat in for most of the game and made it difficult to make chances.

"We did have some good opportunities - we need to keep pushing away because the goals will come and the wins will come."
