Britt Assombalonga's goal in the first half earned Boro back-to-back wins to put us within a point of the Play-Off places.

Pulis says despite not grabbing a second goal, Boro deserved to come out on top at the Riverside.

“It was deserved. They had a couple of chances in the second half because we don’t get the second goal, but we still had the best clear cut chances,” he said.

“The best challenge of the game is George Saville’s challenge on Jonny Howson to stop him from scoring.

“There’s seven opportunities again today to score the second goal and it didn’t come, which we needed to relax and enjoy our football.”
