Tony Pulis feels his side delivered a great riposte to come back from 1-0 down to earn a point at Derby County.
Harry Wilson gave the Rams the lead after a flying start from the home side, with Jordan Hugill netting his sixth of the campaign in the second half to snatch a point for Boro.
After a disrupted start before kick-off losing Aden Flint in the warm-up and going a goal down in the first two minutes, Pulis was delighted with the response shown by his players.
“We’re disappointed, really,” he said.
“We’ve lost Flinty (Aden Flint) before the game and I thought we looked really loose at the beginning of the match and they scored after two minutes, but we got ourselves together again and I thought we finished the half the better team.
“Second half, we took the game to them. In the last ten minutes it was to and throw a little bit.
“We’re a little bit disappointed we’ve not got the three points, but I’m absolutely delighted with the response.
“When you come to this place and go a goal down so early, the response was fabulous.”
