Two in the first half from Anwar El Ghazi and John McGinn and one in the second period from Albert Adomah wrapped up the points for the home side.

“What’s been disappointing is the goals that we’ve conceded,” he said.

“From our throw-in, we play the ball across the pitch and they get in and the left-sided player caused Ryan (Shotton) loads of problems when he was on. I thought we were better when we made the change.

The second goal is a poor goal, he runs off Lewis (Wing) and shows more desire to get there and scores.

“The last goal, Darren’s (Randolph) been fantastic this year and he’ll be the first to hold his hand up. Five shots at goal – they scored three.”
