Pulis’ side head to Villa Park 1-0 down from the first leg at the Riverside on Saturday, with Mile Jedinak’s header giving the Villans a slender one-goal advantage.

The Boro boss says his players need to be on the front foot tonight and play without fear.

“If you cut it down to the nuts and bolts on Saturday, the difference was a set play and that was really disappointing,” he said.

“But we’ve got to make sure that everybody is clear in their minds and everybody goes out there with no inhibitions at all.

“We’ve got to be positive, on our front foot, we’ve got to play the football that we want to play and football that will cause Villa problems.”
