Reading are our final visitors of the regular campaign, with the Boro boss branding the penultimate league match a 'must-win' if we are to claim a coveted Play-Off place.

"We hope we get another game here but we'll have to play a lot better than we did on Monday," Pulis said.

"The Forest game was disappointing in lots of respects but that’s gone now. The important thing is not how you get knocked down but how you get back up.

"We've got to make sure we turn up tomorrow and give it our best shot.

"The next two games, and this one in particular can determine if the season is there for us to grasp still."

Boro are looking for a third home win in succession, but Pulis says Jose Gomes' side will provide a stern test after securing their own second division status.

"Reading have had a good run of results, and the manager seems to know what he's doing," he said.

"They've got a good identity, and they've got players with pace and power that we should be concerned about.

"But it's got to be all about us. We have to put every sinew, every ounce into getting the result we want."
