FanZone returns to the Riverside Stadium on Saturday week for the visit of Swansea City.

Open from 12.30 ahead of the game, all fans are invited down to FanZone for a pre and post-match fun, games, and entertainment.

TFM will be hosting with compere Sol and special guests include former midfielder Neil Maddison and a host of other faces from past and present. There will be quizzes and giveaways throughout.

Entertainment includes 9 Hole Crazy Golf, Toxic Wipeout. Sticky Darts, Penalty Shootout, Grab a Prize Inflatable plus Face painting.

There’s also an eSports arena HTC Vive Virtual Reality headsets where you can step inside your favourite games and see the future of gaming.   

Footballer freestyler Shaad will again be showing off his skills, the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust will be welcoming autumn with some themed crafts, and the Military Police will also be present to offer careers advice and discuss job opportunities.

The MFCF Health bus will be at the FanZone with all the usual activities, including exercise equipment for children and the opportunity for adults to take part in health checks.

We will also be supporting and promoting Stoptober Public Health England’s initiative to encourage people to stop smoking for the month of October. 

Hemlington Detached Youth Work Project will be next to the Health Bus with their Bicycle Smoothie Maker, offering healthy drinks for all.

In addition to the entertainment, food on offer will include burgers and hot dogs, and there will be a Heineken bar for adults.

The prizes on the day include a three-month gym membership (Everyone Active), vouchers for the Cleveland Centre, Frankie and Benny’s, and Pizza Express, a Hollybowl Party for four, and a bundle of books from WH Smith.

There’s also plenty of signed Boro goodies available to win, including a shirt signed by the man of the match.
FanZone will run until 6pm and Funk Collective will be supplying the entertainment post-match.
