Profile

Aden Flint became Boro’s second summer signing in 2018 after joining from Bristol City, putting pen to paper on a four-year deal.

A two-time England C international, Flint started his career with Alfreton Town before moving on to Swindon Town.

He made the switch to Ashton Gate in 2013 and was a member of the Bristol side that clinched promotion from League One and lifted the Football League Trophy in 2015.

The towering centre back, who was named in the PFA League One Team of the Year during Bristol’s promotion-winning campaign, scored 38 goals in 246 appearances during his five-year stay with the Robins.

His first season with us brought 42 appearances, but just the one goal. It was a season that saw him pass through the 300 league game mark.
