He has a background and training in the hotel industry, and also spent many years working as a college lecturer.

John has cooked at many of this country's major sporting events including Six Nations rugby at Twickenham, Murrayfield and the Millennium Stadium, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Royal Ascot, The Open at St Andrews and the Ryder Cup in Valderrama.

John and his team of experienced and dedicated chefs believe in using only the finest available ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible, to deliver great quality food across a range of different menus.

Legendary English cook, food author and TV cookery presenter Delia Smith is a fan of the food at the Riverside Stadium and once referred to her pre-match meal as 'the best food in football'. Rich praise indeed coming from Delia who is the joint majority shareholder at Norwich City and led the catering operation at Carrow Road until stepping aside in 2011.
